 HVAC Referendum Progress Update

Our architects, engineers, School Business Administrator and School Facilities Director have been working on the design and preparation of the architectural/engineering drawings needed to build  the referendum to specifications. This has been a time consuming task.  The architects and engineers looked over the school facilities to plan the new layout of all of the wires, pipes and equipment.  The design plans will now be sent to the New Jersey Schools Development Authority for review and approval.  Once approved, we will place the job out to public bid to secure a contractor to perform the work.  After the bid is awarded, a construction timeline and progress update will be posted.

Our School Philosophy
The climate in a Primary Elementary School should be one that nurtures students, staff and parents. Children must feel secure and safe in an environment that allows them to explore, make mistakes, learn responsibility and experience joy. I believe in a strong emphasis on direct instruction and experiential learning. Guided instruction and cooperative learning teach children respect and organizational skills. Technology is an important tool to enhance instruction and prepare our students for the future, but it can never replace a solid teacher.

A teacher that is a life-long learner will develop a program to use technology as a means of exploring and integrating the curriculum. Teachers should experience learning through self-evaluation. The Administrator should be a role model for learning and positive attitude. Students, staff and parents should feel pride when they enter our building.
