MISSION STATEMENT

  

The mission of the West Long Branch Public Schools is to develop life-long skills to promote the success of the individual to function as a responsible member of our ever changing and diverse society.  In order to accomplish this, we believe that:

 

*   Each child is unique and will prosper and flourish to his/her fullest potential in a positive learning environment.

*   The learning environment will be structured to assure that all students achieve the New Jersey Core Curriculum Standards.

*   That treating each child with respect will teach them to respect each other.

*   That high expectations promote high achievement.

*   That a child’s education relies upon the positive interaction and support of the school, the family and the community.
