Degrees and Certifications:

Mr. Gulya

I graduated Rowan university in 2013 with majors of Secondary Education and History. In 2014, I completed a certification progam as a Teacher of Students with Disabilities also at Rowan University.

For the 2014-2015 school year, I was hired to be a paraprofessional in the Bedminster School District.  I was a 1:1 paraprofessional for a seventh grade student part of the year, and for the rest of the year, I was a paraprofessional for two first grade students.  From 2015-2018, I worked with the Summit School District as an aide. I mostly worked with middle school students (sixth, seventh, and eighth grade students), but I also worked in the summer with Kindergarteners, fourth graders, fifth graders, ninth graders, and tenth graders. I had experience in ICS classrooms, resource classrooms, and LLD classrooms.

In February of 2018, I began working as a teacher in the West Long Branch School District. I have taught Special education and Social Studies. During my time as a teacher, student teacher, and aide/paraprofessional, I have experience working with students of every age from 4 years old to 18 years old.

I ran cross country and track in middle school, high school, and college.  I love to read, relax with friends, and learn about history.
